Our Triple Scale Hydrometer allows you to measure vital information on your home quickly and accurately, which means you can make different wine/beer/kombucha right at home with this set of tool.
This hydrometer is perfect for beer brewing. When making beer at home you must measure the density of the liquid to figure out when the fermenting is complete before bottling to avoid exploding bottles. The density indicates how much sugar is left in the wort for the yeast to consume. The more sugar consumed by the yeast, the more alcohol is in the beer. Using a hydrometer also allows you to discover the actual rate of alcohol in your finished beer batch by providing your first (also known as OG) and last (also known as FG) fermentation readings. Simply subtract the final fermentation reading from your first fermentation reading and divide the result by 7.6 and you will know the percentage of alcohol (ABV%) in your beer
Helps you get accurate information about your homebrew
This well made hydrometer helps you easily calculate Alcohol % (ABV) – Graduated color bands help you know the brewing progress, it’s very precise.
It measures specific gravity from 0.99-1.17, brix/balling from 0-35 and potential alcohol by volume from 0%-20%
Triple Scale Hydrometer is easy to use and read! Reads in three scales – specific gravity, brix/balling and potential alcohol.
